I’m hosting a 9/11 remembrance event this Thursday, September 7th and honoring local heroes. Come show your support and let’s invite local heroes to honor them for their continued commitment to support our community!
I will also be featuring Justin Arndt, an old friend from my policing days. He recently launched a new company that does just that, honors local heroes! Check out more about him below:
Justin Arndt’s first career was with the Powder Springs Police Department from 2012 to 2018.
During his time at Powder Springs he worked the road as a patrol officer. Justin’s passion for community engagement led him to a promotion as the Community Outreach Officer and Public Information Officer.
Justin left Powder Springs PD to work for the City of Kennesaw as a police officer. Within a few months he was involved in an auto accident and medically resigned due to a back injury.
He is now a business owner and runs Our Local Heroes on a part time basis.
Our Local Heroes provides free portrait photos for ALL U.S. Military Veterans and this is enabled due to his partnership with the American Legion Post 29 in Marietta, GA. Justin also offers this service for police departments, fire departments, dispatch centers, EMS organizations and Sheriff Offices.
